- Brian Clark
Brian is a senior executive, advisor, and investor with over 20 years' experience in the fields of travel distribution strategy, online travel execution, commercial airline revenue strategy, and loyalty strategy. His experience includes US and European online travel distribution, commercial strategy and execution, loyalty marketing, revenue management, business development, sales, product development, user experience design, and systems integration.
As a Partner at Hudson Crossing, Brian has twice been engaged as Acting CEO, leading a startup B-to-B SaaS provider in the airfare search space, and a $500M online travel agency specializing in leisure travel.
Prior to Hudson Crossing, Brian was Senior Vice President & General Manager, Fly.com, a successful startup travel meta-search engine with operations in the US and Europe, where he was responsible for the business and financial plan development, launch, and worldwide operations of Fly.com.
Prior to joining Fly.com, Brian spent fourteen years in airlines and aviation. As Vice President – Planning & Sales for Virgin America, a US airline launched in 2007, he was the airline's first commercial planning officer running five key divisions; route network planning & scheduling, revenue management, distribution, sales, and loyalty marketing. He was also responsible for the PSS and revenue management system RFPs and contract negotiations. In its first calendar year, Virgin America grew to $400 million in revenue, deploying a highly successful hybrid-direct distribution model and a pioneering points-based variable redemption loyalty program called Elevate.
Prior to Virgin America, Brian spent nine years at US Airways in various planning and operations roles, ending his tenure as Managing Director-Network Planning.
Brian holds a Bachelor's degree from Colgate University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed private pilot, and resides with his wife and three children in the Washington, DC Area.
