Brian Clark

Brian Clark is a senior executive, advisor, and investor in the fields of online travel strategy, commercial airline strategy, loyalty, and social media. He has extensive experience in US and European online travel distribution as well as commercial airline strategy, pricing, revenue management, distribution, sales, loyalty, and operations.

Brian has nearly twenty years' experience in travel and was most recently Senior Vice President & General Manager, Fly.com, a successful startup travel meta-search engine with operations in the US and Europe. As head of Fly.com, Brian was responsible for the business and financial plan development, site design and launch, marketing/PR, airline and online travel agency partner contract negotiations, and worldwide operations of Fly.com.

Prior to joining Fly.com, Brian spent fourteen years in airlines and aviation. As Vice President – Planning & Sales for Virgin America, a US airline launched in 2007, he was the airline's first commercial planning officer running five key divisions; route network planning & scheduling, revenue management, distribution, sales, and loyalty marketing. In its first calendar year, Virgin America grew to $400 million in revenue on 20 aircraft, drew over 75% direct distribution, a 77% load factor and attracted over 500,000 Elevate loyalty program members. Prior to Virgin America, he spent nine years at US Airways in various planning and operations roles, ending his tenure as Managing Director-Network Planning.

Brian holds a Bachelor's degree from Colgate University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed private pilot, and resides with his wife and three children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
