Ms. Christie Martinez is a 20 year finance veteran benefiting from a career which has extended to all areas of finance and on an International scale. In addition to core finance functions, Christie has spent considerable time in the area of mergers and acquisitions, integration, and redesigning work and processes to streamline and enhance company operations and profitability. She specializes in commercial and operational activities that leverage her financial expertise to drive cost containment while optimizing process and people efficiencies. She has traveled extensively learning and understanding the cultural aspects of business and its intellectual capital, while managing a globally diverse team of professionals.

As a global finance executive, Christie resided in London, England as SVP, CFO of Travelportís International Markets B2B technology and travel services business, a $2B division. In this role, Christie was responsible for operations throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East overseeing all aspects of finance and financial operations; strategic analysis including new business models, pricing strategies and organic growth models; planning and execution of annual budgets and strategic plans; as well as the continued integration of recently acquired businesses. Before serving as CFO for International Markets, Christie was CFO of Gullivers Travel Associates (ìGTAî), a world-class provider of hotel accommodation, ground travel products and related services to the travel trade and was responsible for GTAís financial and technology integration into Travelport after its purchase.

Prior to her international move, Christie ran Enterprise Planning and Analysis for Travelport, leveraging her financial expertise against strategic initiatives, including development of pricing and new business models; planning and reporting, including budgeting and business performance reporting to the Travelport Chairman; new business acquisitions and integration; and the global outsourcing of key commercial and finance operations. During her tenure with Travelport, she excelled in a series of finance and operational roles including accounting, planning and the development and launch of six sigma programs and related balance scorecard initiatives, focused on linking business and people strategies.

Prior to joining Cendant, Christie served as Director of Finance for a large law firm and in the audit practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen for a combined 10 years of public accounting experience. She was heavily focused on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and public offerings. Christie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Montclair State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Polivka International and as Vice-Chair of the Charlotte Workforce Development Board.
