Mr. Craig Cartwright is a talented business executive who is adept at product management, product marketing and technology. Craig has demonstrated a successful track record with his 20 plus years of product and technology leadership. With Craig’s background, he is at ease working with business leaders and technology leaders alike. He can look at disparate business functions, set a strategy then work through the details to deliver quality products.
Craig was previously Applications Services Executive for Hewlett Packard, with P&L and software delivery responsibility for all software applications HP provided to one of the 5 largest airlines in the world.
Craig previously was Vice President Product Management for Travelport, a multi-billion dollar travel distribution company, with global responsibility for products producing $200 million in annual revenue. In his role, Craig introduced leading technology product offerings to travel suppliers.
Prior to Travelport, Craig was Vice President Product Management at Cendant Travel Distribution Services. Craig managed a team of product managers in several countries and products with global reach. In addition to his product responsibilities, Craig was heavily involved in many of Cendant’s merger & acquisition projects. As a result of Craig’s significant contribution to M&A activities, Craig received the company’s most prestigious employee recognition award.
Prior to Cendant, Craig succeeded in multiple roles at Galileo International, with progressive promotions from Product Manager to Sr Director, Product Marketing. Craig had responsibility for a variety of Galileo’s products from travel agency desktops to Apollo and Galileo core systems to corporate and consumer applications. Craig’s product launches included Galileo’s first , and arguably the industry’s first, travel booking application for mobile devices.
Craig began his career as a programmer at People’s Gas, Light and Coke company, with a focus on internal business systems, where he helped introduce a new technology platform within the systems department.
Craig has a B.S. in Computer Science from DePaul University and and MBA in Marketing Management from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
